*YOU KNOW YOU ARE LIVING IN 2007 when...*
1. You accidentally enter your password on the microwave.
2. You haven't played solitaire with real cards in years.
3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of 3.
4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you.
5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that they
don't have e-mail addresses.
6. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if anyone
is home to help you carry in the groceries.
7. Every commercial on television has a web site at the bottom of the
screen.
8. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't have the
first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you
turn around to go and get it.
10. You get up in the morning and go on line before getting your
coffee.
11. You start tilting your head sideways to smile.

12. You're reading this and nodding and laughing.
13. Even worse, you know exactly to whom you are going to forward this
message.
14. You are too busy to notice there was no #9 on this list.
15. You actually scrolled back up to check that there wasn't a #9 on this
list

This text is quite realistic I guess. I could say that points 8., 10., 12., 13 apply to me. Well number 8 should be saying that other people panic and send me back to get the phone, but other three are totally me. I am computer lover and I do a lot of things online, while wondering if it wouldn't have been better to do them the old fashion way. One thing however will never appy to me, I love sending normal letters, not e-mails and I don't think that's ever going to change.

I can't say everything is true for me, but... I think internet, computers... are great things, but on the other hand, this kind of comunication has some diaadvantages. One of them is that people'll have worse social skills.

I guess each and one of us can find his or herself in at least one or two points
and that really is good and bad.
Internet and computers really are great but we're slowly forgeting how to really communicate in person.

There are indeed some things that are true (generally) in the text. Of course - being in 2008 - I have to apply the text for this year, but even if I think of 2007 (though there is no great difference really), I must say, that very few things could talk about me (not mentioning points 14. and 15.). Exempli gratia: the only reason for me having a cell phone (see point 8.) is that my parents don't want to pay higher price for calling me home (from wherever) on the phone at home (what's the expression?? - "stacionarni telefon"), but rather call me on my cell phone. For example, I said.

Is there anyone else out there that would like to share their thoughts on this subject with everyone else?
Nežič your example really makes sense....there are a lot of people these days that don't own "stacionarni telefon" because they don't really need it and cell phones are cheaper.
